Annoyed with his mother constantly putting herself in danger, a teenage boy makes a superhero suit out of the family's clothes. Bored with their sleepy little town, two teenagers create an identity for themselves as mysterious superheroes. The only problem is they have no idea how to actually be superhero-esque. This 15-year-old has always been annoyed with his mother putting herself in harm’s way by reporting on every kind of social issue imaginable. So he takes matters into his own hands and becomes a superhero... in law school. His mother constantly puts herself in danger and he doesn’t like it. As a result, the boy creates a superhero suit out of their family's clothes, and takes to calling himself The Protector so people would stop looking at her wrong. However, when The Protector is put in danger by an older bad guy, the boy learns that sometimes you have to go against who you originally felt was right in order to do what's rightfully yours. This film is about a boy named Max (Kobi Levi) who lives with his over-protective and over-bearing mother (Alda). She goes into society and interviews victims of terrible crimes and events all the time putting herself in dangerous situations. In order to escape from his over-bearing mother, Max creates a superhero costume and starts calling himself 'The Protector' and going around collecting valuables from his mother's interview appearances. He then uses the money he collects from doing these interviews to go to a private school despite being a low-income kid. At this point, Max is aware that his mom is a crime reporter but still believes that she is not putting herself in danger on purpose so he knows it's her choice to go out there and do those stories. The two have an understanding of how their relationship works as they have gotten used to each other, but they are both still very protective of each other as there are parts of their lives they don't share with one another. Max's mother is very protective of her son as well, but the only difference between the two is that Max has no idea how much his mother really loves him. One day, Max's mom gets a story that could change her career forever. The story was about a man named William West who had worked for a bank company that was corrupt and now this man is now seeking revenge on the people who "turned him". His first target would be his ex-colleague John Gordan, whom he knows will be at an event being held at the same time as the event Max's mom has been invited to. When Max's mom hears about this story she is extremely excited and overjoyed because this could be the story that would make her boss happy and she could finally get promoted to news anchor. The only problem is that the event that Max will be attending at the same time as his mom (the man William West is after) will be held at a place called "The Gardens", which has great security surveillance. This means that if Max's mom shows up she will surely end up on camera, thus making it easy for William West to recognize her. cfa1e77820
