The story is about an old group of mercenaries who are hired to take out some bad guys. The best part of the film is that it has an all-star cast from Sylvester Stallone to Arnold Schwarzenegger, Phil Collins, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis. In this blog post we're going to discuss what movies like Expendables should have been made in response to as well as what you should watch instead if you want a more serious action movie experience. Some of the things I think should have been included in the Expendables movies are more character depth, some kind of story, and more memorable interactions between characters. The Expendables movies are basically just another team of mercenaries with lots of different weapons killing anyone that stands in their way. A lot of these movies start out with some kind of formidable threat but then it quickly dissipates with no real battle happening. If you were to make a Expendables movie you would not want this because the point is to make money off action movie pictures. There needs to be a reason for people to go see these films because otherwise it's just another unnecessary action flick on the top list at Blockbuster or something like that. The Expendables movies are very original because there's no other team of mercenaries like this. Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dwayne Johnson are three of the most famous action stars out there, but they aren't really seen in action movies together. They don't usually appear in the same movie because they wouldn't be able to work together effectively if they did. Some of the smaller roles like that of Bruce Willis (who is not an action star), Joe Carnahan (the writer/director), Terry Crews (who I'm not even sure is an actor) and Sly Stallone (the creator) all do a good job at being memorable characters. They have faces that people will remember for a long time. Now, let's talk about movies that are similar to Expendables. One movie that comes to mind is the last Jason Bourne film where Matt Damon plays the titular character. The Expendables series has nothing in common with this film other than being an action movie with famous actors, but after watching Expendables you will have a much better understanding of why Jason Bourne is considered one of the best action stars out there right now. It's because of his intelligence and ability to think on his feet. He can adapt to changing situations in order to get out of any situation alive. Jason Bourne is smart and uses his brain as much as he uses his weapons. He is not the kind of guy who would kill everyone without thinking. He would rather talk his way out or try to find another solution, which is why I think the Expendables movies should have some kind of story and more character depth. The two Expendables movies were probably a lot of fun to make and probably took a lot of time to shoot because there are so many different characters with different abilities that it must have been hard to coordinate all that, but they will most likely be forgotten within a couple years because there's no real substance behind them. cfa1e77820
